Cosmopolitan yet traditional, traditional yet contemporary: Matera likes to balance the differences. This collection is firstly inspired by artists from faraway, whether Inca or Aborigine. But without necessarily representing long journeys: it is the love of a beautiful gesture, fine materials and traditional art. Traditional fabrics, fine woodcraft and primitive painting are all beautifully represented.
